Raju and Silva, the proud owners of Cafe Amore, began building what they now call their most cherished creation in 2002. With backgrounds in country clubs, delis, and similar establishments, this husband-and-wife duo combined their years of experience and an unwavering standard of excellence to create a business from the ground up, never compromising on quality or their vision.
As the years passed, word spread about this mom-and-pop cafe offering global flavors. Soon, demand for their food extended beyond the cafe, with requests pouring in for offices, weddings, graduations, bridal showers—you name it, they got the call. And so, the catering branch of Cafe Amore was born.
Today, what started as a small, family-run business has blossomed into a thriving enterprise, serving both corporate clients and catering events, with multiple locations throughout New Jersey. Raju and Silva have also fulfilled a long-time dream with the launch of Meal By Chef—a service delivering fresh, chef-prepared dinners to homes and offices—and a sushi bar, adding another exciting dimension to their ever-evolving journey.

I have worked in many ‘corporate’ buildings in my career from Iselin to Jersey City to Manhattan and have dined in far too many building cafeterias. Of the multitude of sandwiches, salads, wraps, and dishes I have encountered coupled with the staff, cleanliness (or lack thereof) and options, your café...is truly a stand-out. The staff are warm, friendly and always accommodating. The food is by far the very best I have encountered in similar cafeterias. Most especially, the fare is always fresh and your options rival that of a restaurant three times your size. Please take comfort in that you and your staff are doing a truly outstanding job.
What can I say - thanking you for the most amazing party is not nearly enough. The food presentation was fabulous and the food delicious.
